I’m in Saint tropez right now and walked by this store and tried on 2 AP’s ref 15202st with blue dials, and the salesman showed me a popular French newspaper from today about AP’s 50th anniversary and how they will have a massive auction in May. He then told me that the price of these watches is going to explode in coming months, can anyone tell me more?

Seeing how the market is currently doing, I think it's unlikely these will "explode in the coming months" and that they have likely already peaked in price.
