If so, any tips or tricks would be appreciated. I’ve spotted a watch I’d be interested in making a bid on but am a noob. So hopefully some of the more experienced guys on here will want to protect us noobs. Is there a genuine accepted protocol as to how to go about buying and selling? To protect noobs from scammers?

Bought a number of pieces from Moda. Terrific experience all around. As others have said, run a reference check. For further piece of mind, they offer an escrow service for a fee.
