audacity changes key/pitch of recording.

I have a digital piano and i record into my PC from that, now, when i play back the recording for the first 1-2 mins it's in the correct key and everything sounds the way it should, however, get to about 3 mins in and Audacity changes the tempo/pitch of the recording and it sounds really ugly and unlistenable you can litteraly hear it changing on the recording it's so annoying, despite the first 2 mins of the recording being absolutely fine i have no idea what is causing this. Whats the fix for this?
