In what order should you apply these Audacity effects: Noise Reduction, Compressor, Equalization, Limiter, Normalize
Post Body
Hello Audio Engineers, I have a question for you.
In what order would you use the following Audacity effects to gain the best recording possible for e-learning videos ?
Noise Reduction
Compressor
Equalization
Limiter
Normalize
Its possible that the order doesn't matter, if so, please let me know.
Its also possible that it is entirely subjective. If so, please let me know what you would do, and why =).
Thank you!
PS: Bonus Questions:
- Would you use a Hard Limiter or a Soft Limiter? why?
- Would you use Chris's Compressor instead of Audacity's Built in Compressor? Why or why not?
- Would you use the LevelSpeach.NY or LevelSpeech2.NY plugins instead of any of the effects above? Why or why not?
