• an acoustic guitarist, a violinist and a few singers performing Christian hymns on a few weekend evenings
• a guy selling ‘Christmas cookies’ at a table
• a Beam scooter helmet plopped on top of the Queen Victoria statue’s crown
• The amputation of the nose of the George Grey statue at least once
• A scruffy homeless guy making coughing sounds whenever he walked past people
• a mother making her young daughter practice violin near the back of the Princes Street Merchant Houses
