In all, I've had a couple of solid wins from you weirdos this week :)

Trans-Siberian Orchestra- Really great show with a really great guy. He responded to my post almost immediately. We hit it off enough to agree that we'd have a fun time at the show together. We met up at a little bar beforehand for some drinks and smalltalk. Despite the rough start with a grouchy bartender, it was nice. Then we headed to the show... which was amazing. Overall: Great dude, but I don't think the physical attraction was mutual- fair enough.

Comedy- This is where shit gets weird... Again, almost immediately, I got a couple solid responses. Redditor 1 ended up ghosting the morning of the show. Redditor 2 already had plans for the night by the time 1 ghosted.... so that left me in a bit of a pickle. Redditor 3 was in the DMs earlier, so i hit him up. He was available. Win- i think 🤔 We meet up and go to a little sports bar. Conversation is strained, and he has that annoying stoner laugh. He has a "bandage" on his finger being held together by electrical tape that's almost comical. We have absolutely nothing in common. He buys a round of drinks. Conversation still isn't getting better. I suggest an order of food- He informs me that he can't afford it 🤦‍♀️ I buy pizza and the next round of drinks. We head to the venue. Conversation is just non-existent at this point. Once seated, Redditor 3 is informed of the 2-item per person minimum, so he orders 2 beers. The show host comes out and makes a couple jokes and lands on our table at one point asking how we knew each other. I respond with "Reddit invite"... which obviously set the tone for a few more jokes. I never even looked at R3, so I don't know how he received it. Right as the first performer came on, R3 excused himself to the restroom. Between openers, the host keeps looking at my table but not saying anything. Right before the headliner, he calls out the fact that my date has been gone for 40 minutes and asks where he went. That opened the floodgates for jokes about the guy (at that point, i was HOPING that he didn't come back). Then the headliner came out and scattered bits about it throughout the show. It was perfect. I ended up getting a couple drinks sent to me, getting a meet-and-greet with the headliner with a signed poster, and some friendly post-show flirts. The bar covered the beer tab that he left (I tipped them generously for being so amazing). I'm not sure if he got offended by the reddit jokes or if he left because he couldn't afford the tab of 2 beers, but I'm glad that i didn't have to endure the extra 2 hours of forced interaction with him. Overall: Rough start, but it ended in the best way possible
