So Im caught up and loving it, but I watched a lot of this show stoned and I think I’m missing some things, so if I sound dumb that’s why. Can you guys help me out?

1) So it was my understanding that Eren could only unlock the power of the Founder by coming in contact with someone of royal blood (and couldn’t immediately tap into it since he wasn’t himself). Why did he need to seek out Zeke to do it? Why wouldn’t he just do that with Historia?

2) Going off that, why did Zeke and Eren do the coming into contact thing in Paradis? Couldn’t they have just done that in Marley during their war with the Middle Eastern guys when they were talking at that hospital?

3) I’m confused on the Attack Titan power. I know it lets the users see the memories of its future users. It’s implied that Eren Kruger could see Eren’s memories (since he name dropped Armin and Mikasa) and it’s stated explicitly that Grisha could as well, but how much did they see? I think Grisha says after the Reiss massacre “why won’t you show me everything” implying Eren was manipulating Grisha to eat the founder so that he could eventually get it by coming into contact with Zeke, but how does that work? Did he filter what memories he showed those two? Like I realize time travel in stories is usually just a thing to hang a story on and the logical shouldn’t necessarily be questioned but that threw me for a loop a little.
