Loop theory

Post Body

Hey, I just started looking into the loop theory and I think it's pretty cool but I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the MULTIPLE times characters have talked about things repeating? I can't remember exact examples but I remember multiple scenes throughout the anime/manga where characters talked about things repeating all over again if they failed, like a cycle or loop. I don't think this is the characters being aware of the loop, it could be, but I think this is possible foreshadowing of the loop theory?

Also, this is kind of unrelated, but another thing I remember characters repeating multiple times throughout the anime/manga is saying "Why would I remember that at a time like this?" whenever they just woke up from a flashback. This could just be repetative writing but I think it's future Eren making characters remember certain things at certain times to make sure they do a certain thing, like how Mikasa had that motivational flashback when she ran out of gas in Trost district (the first time we see Eren's titan) then said that exact phrase.

I like the idea of time being in a sort of loop. I think Isayama does too. He's been playing with concepts around future and past for the entire series.

Just the title of episode 1: "To 2000 years ago" and the final season episode "From you 2000 years ago" shows that the start and end of the show are connected.

I don't want to Manga spoiler unsuspecting readers so I'll just say, if the animators stick with the Manga ending there is even more fuel for loop theories
