I just finished season 3 and whoa buddy…I need a breather. I can’t believe everything that just transpired over the last 10ish or so episodes. AoT was already shaping up to be one of my favourite anime ever, but season 3 really took it to the next level to become one of my favourite shows ever, period.

And man, that second half, holy crap. The buildup from when they travel to Shiganshina, all the way through to the surprise attacks by the Marleyeldian gang, to the individual battle scenes, the tough moral choices, the fucking revelation in the basement, and the melancholy ending where our heroes are headed for more death and violence…wow. I legitimately cannot remember the last time where every episode of a show just kept making me go holy shit and wondering how it would be topped, only for it to happen again. Maybe peak Breaking Bad and Mr Robot? That’s the feeling I got watching season 3 of AoT

Can’t wait to jump into season 4. I have a feeling it’s gonna get even crazier now that all the cards are on the table.
