Finally made it over there this weekend on Saturday for an early Father's Day β had a great time. I think I'd only had Courageous Conductor and mayyyybe Ezekiel's Wheel before, but everything I had was great.
Mom's big on stouts, Mac's Big Break was her favorite (not sure if it was new, I had to add the Untappd listing). Dad probably liked the Wild Hellvan most (biere de garde collab with Wild Heaven), but also the IPAs.
They were decently busy that day, several things kicked and they kept bringing out more and more interesting things. I got to try Charred Walls (must-seek for me now), Bat Joe (arctic blast berliner, never had a green beer, very good), the Mac's Big Break (salted caramel stout, great), the Wild Hellvan, Tom Violence (mango cranberry gose, great), and Killboy Powerhead (also so good). Brought home a few other things I haven't tried yet (Death of the Electric Citizen carrot berliner, Kolb's Farm and Angel Rat)
Love to see a place make some unusual styles, and that they make them so well. Also cool space, and staff was great.
Please go if you haven't gone, so they can continue to expand and distribute bottles to north Cumming, and open a second branch down the road from me.
(If you're telling yourself it's too far, it's an hour 15 minutes for me βΒ and for what it's worth they're less than a mile from The Nest, which was some pretty great BBQ & has a pretty expansive tap list of its own. Make a day trip of it).
