“I’ll be back.” Deep thought from cinematic icon Arnold Schwarzenegger.
And he was right. I will be back. Next week, I’ll return to your fine city for work yet again. And again I will face the same days. Fly in on Monday. Work at the office. Get something for dinner. Watch Discovery Channel. Repeat until Friday when I fly home.
Let’s change that, though! You and me. On adventures in monotony destruction! Our weapons? Engaging conversations, a few beverages and a sincere desire to turn drab into fab.
What say you? Why not turn your weeknight into, at the very least, a story to tell your friends or co workers about this guy you met and how people from the Midwest aren’t so very different from Southerners after all. And then the focus on the lens will soften and moody instrumental music will start playing in the background and the credits will roll. No, wait, that’s a Hallmark movie, I think. What would actually happen is we’d meet new people and have fun and that’s 100% up to us. Hooray for self-determination!
Whatta ya say? Will you determine to beat monotony with me?
About me? I’m a 42-year-old traveling sales engineer who is in Atlanta this week, as I am quite often. I’m outgoing, polite, sarcastic at times and love to talk to people about what most interests them. As for physical appearance, I’m tall (6’3”) and in pretty good shape for my age, if I do say so myself. I guess I’d describe myself as “modern square.” Glasses, clean shaven, fairly short hair.
About you? We’ll, you tell me! You could put anything in this section really. The most important thing is that you’re up for meeting someone new, making your evening more remarkable and enjoying yourself.
If any of this has piqued your interest, please send me a chat or private message! Let’s co ordinate and find a way to meet up for that drink and conversation.
I look forward to hearing from you. If you need me, I’ll just be over here in my monotony. Thanks for reading.
