I know it. You know it. Everybody knows it. Tuesday is entirely forgettable. Monday at least is the first day of the week and has the promise of a good week. Wednesday is mid week and says it will be the weekend relatively soon. Tuesday? Tuesday brings nothing to the table.

But, hear me out here, what if we had a remarkable Tuesday? What if we stare down boredom and say “not today. Today I will meet a new person, have an engaging conversation and maybe even laugh.” Wouldn’t that be better? It would, wouldn’t it?

For those that agree and have read this far, let me propose that I be that new person you meet and converse with. We’ll grab drinks, we’ll learn about each other, we’ll laugh until our cheeks feel funny. What’s ya say?

About me? I’m a 42-year-old traveling sales engineer who is in Atlanta this week, as I am quite often. My workdays are full, if somewhat monotonous. But then the evening comes and I have the prospect of sitting alone in a hotel room watching hour after hour of Discovery Channel and reading emails. Or I could try to find a local watering hole and sit at the bar staring at my phone. I’m well versed in both and both are lackluster, Tuesday or not.

I’m outgoing, polite, sarcastic at times and love to talk to people about what most interests them. As for physical appearance, I’m tall (6’3”) and in pretty good shape for my age, if I do say so myself. I guess I’d describe myself as “modern square.” Glasses, clean shaven, fairly short hair.

About you? We’ll, you tell me! You could put anything in this section really. The most important thing is that you’re up for meeting someone new, making your evening more remarkable and enjoying yourself.
