That's a wrap for 2024! I'd love to hear about your experiences from the subreddit this year. Here's mine.
Year in Review (r/atlantar4r edition)
FWB = 1 Despite my best efforts I was only able to find one this year. We had a couple of good sessions before he disappeared. I guess that's just the nature of these things but he certainly left me wanting more.
Encounters = 6 I'm going to use the word encounters because these were not ONS or dates but some secret third thing. Still enjoyable in their own unique way.
Dates = 5 These were friendships that turned romantic and all of them were positive experiences. I am grateful to have met these folks.
Friends = 2 It's really hard to make friends in your 30s! These are folks I still talk to frequently (off app)
Times Rejected = 10ish Occasionally a post would peak my interest and I would reach out only to be rejected. It happens to everyone!
Messages Received = 100s?? My user name sort of invites these but most folks I talked to were kind and respectful. About 15% we're jerks or lashed out after being turned down. I think these are really good ratios tbh
Anyway, thank you r/atlantar4r. It's been another fascinating year and I will continue to lurk for years to come.
