I got this authentic jerk recipe from a Jamaican friend of mine. It came in a Mason jar with "spicy" on the top. He's from the islands, so if he says it's spicy, I know my taste buds are in for a treat.
Smoked with some soaked cherry wood before blasting on high heat to get that perfectly charred crisp for the razzle-dazzle. Serving with some coconut rice, braised string beans and tamarind juice.
Good stuff.
It's summa time! You know what that means....COOKOUTS.
That means oldies blasting, burning brats, and a tipsy uncle with flip flops two-stepping while smoking some ribs.
