I'm not so familiar with the above relationship types just yet, so please correct me if I'm wrong.
I'm in want of a partner or friend who wouldn't mind some time to just hang out, go out (be it a walk, a bite, see or attend something they don't feel safe going to alone), or really someone I can get some physical contact with (just cuddling or a lap pillow at worst). Willing to give as well as receive; we all need that sort of care and attention sometimes, and I'd like to know how I can help, as well.
Some things about me: I'm a mechanical assembler currently, have been for over 10 months now. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats at home. I like to game, read, write, research in my spare time, when I can. I'm a graduate of UGA in Athens. Georgia has been my hike state my whole life.
Some of my favorite genres would be nonsensical comedies (think Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Community, American Dad), thrillers and horror (last one of these I enjoyed was Hereditary), or really anything that tries to give a good story without using an overused message tacked into it (something like Ready Player One, while enjoyable, I don't like for that reason; Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves and Paul, though, are favorite movies of mine).
I will admit a few things about myself up front:
I'm asexual, meaning I'm not sexually attracted to people—and no, it's not a matter of "the right person", I'm fine with how I am. I am also autistic, so some things don't come naturally to me. I apologise if I do or say something I shouldn't, or say something out of nowhere—I really don't know sometimes. I only ask if people can be straight with me and be willing to say what you mean, because some stuff can go over my head. I'm a bit of a wall at first, but when I build trust I'm more open and might crack a bad joke with you.
420 friendly and fine with pets if they don't mind new people being around.
Let's chat and see if we can get to know each other.
