This is probably a long shot, but I’ve had positive experiences with this sub in the past so here goes: I’m a 22-year-old Black and Queer female (she/they pronouns) who works full time at a library. I am looking for either a room in a house or apartment, and I’m budgeting for no more than $1100/mo on rent, not including utilities.
My current lease ends on June 30th, so I am hoping to move into a new place the week of my birthday, Sunday, June 25th. I work in Downtown, so my goal is to be within 20 minutes of driving distance away from my job, and/or to be near MARTA accessible transportation. My ideal locations are Downtown, South Atlanta, Grant Park, Edgewood, and Lakewood areas. I am okay with roommates, but would prefer they be BIPOC/kinky/polyamorous/LGBTQ /420 friendly like myself. I do not mind if you do not identify as any of the previous! I have a male partner that I would like to share my space, and he is in graduate school full time. If a listing fits other needs I have, I can go without his tenancy.
My priorities for a good roommate match are cleanliness, friendliness, and strong communication skills. I have a lot of books, so I will likely require room in a shared area for my bookshelves. Outside of work, I enjoy playing video games, curating kink parties and events, and exercising (primarily yoga, rollerskating, lifting weights, and cycling). Feel free to ask anything that would help determine if we're a good fit!
And because I feel it needs to be said, no, I’m not interested in exchanging sexual acts for a living space.
