My favorite uncle, who is religious but super open minded and smart, is in from out of town for my aunts cancer surgery and my sick busy body aunt decided to stage an intervention on me. She took it upon herself to tell him to talk to me about it because how dare I say that I don’t believe in god. So frustrating…he listened to me and told me he respects my decision and that he still loves me and she turned it into a screaming match about how wrong I am and kept trying to twist everything I said. I have more respect for him for actually listening to me.
