I think this just happened to me, and I must say, it's a very odd feeling, frustrating and sad. To make things worse, it was a friend who used to be an atheist, or at least agnostic, and with whom I had many conversations about religion, blind faith, and so on. I believe that serious personal issues and pressure from her family "converted" her, and when she told me, of course I had to question her decision, but I was willing not to talk about the subject and avoid arguments on the matter. Next thing I know, she's not responding my text messages, calls, e-mails, nothing. Is that even Christian to do? I know there's nothing else I can do but hope one day she realizes we don't have to believe the same thing to be friends, or maybe wait for a Christmas miracle.
