Why aren’t all Christians self-sacrificing heroes?
Post Body

If these folks are honestly so certain about their faith then who wouldn’t want to go to heaven and get all the good stuff as soon as possible?

Sure, rules say they can’t off themselves to get through the pearly gates, but why don’t they put themselves at risk doing something dangerous and noble to get brownie points and early entry?

At least a few of their more radical Muslim counterparts are happy to strap on some TNT to put their money where their mouths are and fast-track the 72 heavenly pussies, so why not the Christians to?

In fact I almost never see any examples of Christians embracing death unless it’s to console and sedated themselves about a loved one who (usually unwillingly) had to go meet their maker.

Could it be that at an innate level they know it’s all just BS?
