I have a friend that I have been friends with for 9 years. The last few months she has become suddenly super religious and has become a bit preachy. She just sent me some bible verse about how the head of a man is Christ and that a man should shave a woman’s hair off if they refuse to cover it and when I said that is brutal and absolutely monstrous, she is now justifying it saying that it’s because men will do worse to her for not covering it. My response to her was “give me liberty or give me death. I won’t give up my freedom for anything especially not because of some book”.

I am just starting to feel like she’s brainwashed. She was never like this before. I don’t want to lose my friend but these are some radical beliefs.
