Post Body

I realized that nearly all religions start as what are essentially small cults. I used to trust in christianity mostly because of its popularity. Now i see it was very small in its early years and only is practiced worldwide because of the roman empire picking it up. Think of all the other small relgions that existed back then that dont even have records to their belief structure anymore, with some the only clue to their existance at all is an offhand mention by a small politican 4000 years ago. Its is interesting chirsitanity could have suffered the same fate and another religon could have taken its place.

This helps me feel better if i feel bad or scared for walking away. If i didnt fear hell i would have feared "hell" from another religion had the romans chosen it.
