Could asteroid debris leave the solar system?
Post Body

This may seem dumb but, knowing that asteroid impacts can kick up serious amounts of land and debris on planets - enough to have amounts leave the orbit of that planet, but is it possible those fragments could be flung out of the solar system entirely by the gravitational pull of a big planet? i imagine the speeds needed to break the orbit of the solar system are INCREDIBLY fast so im not sure if that'd be feasable?

my guess is plausible but highly unlikely but would like some more versed opinions
