Handling specific placements during a breakup/no contact/ on again-off again experience.
Post Body

To keep it short: about five years back, a friend of mine (Sag sun, Pisces moon, Gem rising) and I (Pisces sun, Pisces moon, Virgo rising) took the new step into a relationship which lasted about 8 months. It was very emotionally and physically intense (squares to Venus and Mars) experience that ended due to fuzzy circumstances. Even though it was short, it was deeply influential, and to this day I’ve steered clear of anyone who would touch my moon in that way again.

(I can provide more chart or situation details if needed in the comments)

However even though it’s been five years (with extremely limited to no contact) I still get massive waves of sadness, deeply detailed dreams, elaborate fantasies, etc. about this one man. I have been divorced from a 10-year partnership and am now married in a stable multi-year relationship and neither of them even prompted this much emotional turmoil. I feel like I’m feeling things that aren’t even my own — the sadness comes in waves unconnected to my life. Is there an astrology-specific way to handle this? Should I incorporate a moon phase into a spell? Am I forever destined to feel like way with a failed moon-sun-moon conjunction synastry?

I feel like the Venus retrograde is telling me to let this fucker go, but it’s like gum stuck on my shoe. Help!!
