I just went to the optometrist and renewed my prescription, my vision is mostly fine after glasses, but when Im a little fatigued and not wearing glasses I notice these strange visual artifacts (as pictured). I'm not sure how to fix astigmatism that's resulting in ghost images in both directions.
Lately I've also been noticing ghost images in both directions even when I wear my glasses.
FWIW the optometrist said it definitely wasn't keratoconus but I'm unsure of how to best resolve this astigmatism when I have ghost images in two directions. Should I go back to contacts instead of glasses? I have -3.0 astigmatism in both eyes at 177 and 3 deg in left and right respectively. Does anyone else have similar issues?
