Hi, a family member(in south America) has astigmatism, she got a new prescription but it gives her headaches and cause dizziness so she stop wearing the. She uses her old glasses even though they have a different prescription but they don't make her dizzy or get her nauseated. She does have headache which seems to be related to her astigmatism.
Today while she picked up glasses for her kid, the sales reps told her that they get glasses (digital, not sure what they meant by it) from the US that should help with her symptoms. Is there such glasses? Or is the sales person trying to pull a fast one on her?
Would surgery be a better option? What kind of test does she need to get to figure out her astigmatism?
Thank you!
