an assassin's creed game set during the 100 years war would be perfect.

The 100 years war is what it sounds like, France and Britain fighting over a crown. There's so much potential for a great game. The combat could be a mix between the old style and the newer style (though I think unity's is the best we well as the parkour)

The ability to fight in two different countries could be amazing. Imagine being able to pick which side wins a war as big as that.

If they wanted to they could tap into ezios father's legacy (though that'd be controversial)

You could fight against/with historical figures like Jean d'arc..

I just think there's a lot of potential in that era that wasn't used previously (wether it was the technology of the time or just wasn't something that interested Unisoft at the time)

I feel like this could provide the whole assassin fan service we love while also being a fresh take on an era we've seen before.

Just a thought, would like to hear some opinions on it
