Isle of Skye inhabited by Anglo-Saxons. Is this correct?

Post Body
Idk how many in here are history buffs, but any info is greatly appreciated. So I started playing the new Valhalla update on the isle of Skye, but the isle seems to be inhabited by anglo-saxons. I dont know much on the history of this exact region, but I would've assumed it would be inhabited by the Gaelic Scots. Did they do this to save money on hiring Gaelic VAs, or am I completely incorrect in my assumption?
