[Assassin's Creed Odyssey]

MILD SPOILERS, NOWHERE RELATED TO THE MAIN STORY

I have played only for about 20hrs, have recently been informed about the cult of the you know who, and have taken part in 2 conquest battles. I am the kind of person who clears all objectives on the map, big and small. All those ? need be become tick marks.

What has been bothering me is that I need to destroy camps and forts with soldiers who have done nothing to me, and belonging to either of the two factions. I understand when this is tied in with some side quest, but when it is not, why am I the one destabilizing the region? It sucks that I am doing one battle on the Spartan side and the next on the Athenian, and possibly over the same region. Why am I doing what was Elpenor's plan to start with? And then there are other unaligned groups like bandits (no regrets) and hunters (yes regrets). It makes me feel uncomfortable. I try to knock them out instead of killing them, but that doesn't work more often than not.

Also, fuck that hog. That shit was tough.
