Last night, Syndicate would freeze up during the white-room loading segment and even before that in the main menu. I've tried reinstalling the game and restarting my console but those didn't work so I left it off for the night and tried again this morning. After several more attempts of restarting the game, this happened:

What can I do to solve this freezing problem? For the record, my console is a little over 2 years old and was a factory re-shipped product (someone had returned their product and the factory fixed it and re-shipped it to the store) so it wasn't new by the time I got it. It's in a decently ventilated area and I've had other games freeze up or shut down before but they haven't persisted as long as Syndicate has.
