I think this is the perfect time to re-implement the competitive multiplayer AC Game, using assassins from across all time. And, I think it would be a genius job on Ubi's part:

• for one, there are two things that drive long term engagement: new content and competition.
  • New content is difficult to create consistently, but for multiplayer drip, it's a lot easier than a whole DLC story
  • DLC/customization could include assassination animations, characters, outfits/outfit components, and weapons - big payday stuff, which could even be run as F2P
  • Competition is constant, and new game modes or even custom game modes with a custom browser can keep a game living long past its expiration date
• It's the perfect place to have something for all players: every time they add a new game to Infinity, the multiplayer is right there, drawing players back in
• It would serve as the perfect catalyst to get new players to purchase and play old games, and old players to purchase and play new games
  • Any game the player has bought/played unlocks that assassin as playable, and possibly other characters from that game as well
  • Any cosmetics the player has bought in that game could translate to the multiplayer, giving players a reason to buy the drip from previous games
• They wouldn't even need to make a new multiplayer with every game, which was part of the development problem with the previous iterations of the multiplayer - all they would need to do is create content for it like any other multiplayer game nowadays, and it would sit in the Infinity hub, accessible any time anyone wants to play any AC game.
