Roll one dice for beginner and two dice for advanced. The number rolled is the minutes to hold your breathe for. If I roll less than 5, then I have to roll again and add the two together. If I pass out then only the full minutes counts. If I have to breathe for two minutes to recover, that's added back to the balance times 2 for a penalty for not completing. Repeat this until I satisfy the remainder balance.
Example I roll 12 I make it 4¾ minutes to passing out. Even if I make it to 4:59, it's always rounded down and not up! I can only recover breathe for 1 minute or else I'll never finish the time, and that is times two, so 2 is added back. My balance is now 10! We might be here a while, or I'll have to only have 1 minute recoveries. Either way this is going to be very challenging for me to endure!!
I am also given the chance to roll dice to reduce my minutes, but it's a gamble. If I roll even, I get half of the number taken off my time, but if I roll odd, then those minutes are added times 2! I'm at a unfair disadvantage, and the risk is higher to put more on than to reduce it. After a couple of black outs, I may be desperate enough to gamble for a chance to reduce it. If for any reason we have to end the session prematurely, then we must finish it later with a penalty added to the time.
Edited: added rules
If you role less than 6 if you are advanced, and 4 if you are a beginner, than you have to roll again and add that to it. If you are unable to complete the challenge in one try, then you are required to black out and those minutes will be credited. Or, if you roll less than stated above, you can roll again after 1 attempt to win the challenge.
Do I have any volunteers to help me with this challenge? (Disclaimer: Scenario is meant for partners and not for solo play. Please do not attempt blackout alone or with a partner who is not well informed of safety. Otherwise consider this for entertainment purposes only.)
What a shame, she didn't make it. Time to wake her up for round two!!
