Sensitive to Friends' Emotions?

Post Body

Are any of you guys sensitive to your friends'/loved ones' emotions? I don't mean in an empath, woo-woo sort of way. But more so if they're upset and expressing it, you're also upset and feel bad. Almost like you're feeling what they're feeling, to a point where it hurts. Especially when they're letting it out, and it gets heavy for you and it hurts to hear (like saying really harsh things when they're venting). How do you handle it? How do you push through it to support your friend? I've been very supportive of my friends for so long. But lately it's getting harder to do and I wanna fix that.

Edit: Wow I did not expect this to blow up like it did! I appreciate everyone's input, and I'm sorry y'all deal with this too.

I think Reddit is glitching on my end b/c even though it'll notify me that someone commented, I can't always see it. Idk why, but it just won't show up. So if I don't reply to you, that's why. I promise I'm not ignoring you lol
