A bit of a backstory: I am an avid music lover who listens to just about anything and everything under the sun as a major special interest of mine. Lately I’ve been really getting into Klaus Nomi’s music, particularly his operatic pieces especially his unfinished opera, Za Bak Daz. In addition to this, I also love more obscure goth and new wave bands in my collection as well as French language records. My family finds this really weird, but I feel drawn to it and wondered if anyone else had a similar experience.
TL;DR:
I am very into eccentric/ non mainstream music of different styles as a part of my special interest in which my family finds odd. Has anyone had a similar experience?
