So I called Health and Human Services after a year to finally report my ex’s abusive dad, on urging of my therapist, even though I’ve been out of contact with my ex for over a year. I feel like my autism sometimes got in the way of my interview with the social worker. Has this happened to others?

Post Body
I called the health and human services hotline for my state to report my exes abusive father, after a year of being out of contact with my ex and feeling discouraged to report his father’s behavior. I felt like I was talking in circles sometimes to the interviewer, even though the correct information was given, and the report was done well. I am now exhausted, and feeling a bit foolish for my poor communication at times. Has this happened to anyone else?
