Any tips on looking older as an autistic women?

Post Body

As is common with many autistic adults, I look extremely young for my age. I'm on the petite side and have a very high pitched voice. Over time, I'm starting to realise people infantilise and sometimes even disregard my opinions completely in the workplace. I am almost 30 now and it's exasperating. I can't move jobs easily because this industry is my special interest and I get burnt out doing most other things.

I don't mind dressing up a bit more professionally or maybe even learning to 'voice coach' myself to speak in a more 'adult/NT' way for the workplace. As I don't have to go in everyday, it won't be too draining.

But wondering if anyone know some ways to look and appear more mature that has helped them?

I think it is more important to focus on the vibe you give off, than the superficial stuff.

I started teaching high school at 22. I looked and was young. Watching The Dog Whisperer helped. He talks a lot about calm confident energy and body language.
