I always feel like my friends are better friends with each other than they are with me, for example I had some friends in town last weekend who were staying with another friend and I was kind of expecting to hang out a lot and then I found out they all went and got tattoos together and did other stuff which is ok, I don’t have to be invited and they are closer. I’ve noticed this in most of my friendships throughout my life and I’m “used to it”, but it still obviously bothers me a bit otherwise I wouldn’t be talking about it. I’m 26, getting married next month and want to have a family in the next couple years so I’m wondering if it’s even worth giving a lot of energy to changing this or if I even could? I have 2 friends that I see regularly and honestly don’t want more friends (exhausting), I just want to feel like people want to be around me. I don’t know.
