Aloha everyone! Something I do often, that bugs the hell out of my fiancĆ© is I start my sentences mid thought or donāt give context to what Iām saying. So I might be thinking about something in my head, āI put the headphone cable in the laptop bagā. If she asks me where the headphone cable is Iāll respond with āitās in the bagā because in my head I know itās in the laptop bag; however, there is a headphone bag where the cable usually belongs so sheāll check there first and of course she doesnāt find it. I then have to backtrack and say, āsorry I meant that itās in the laptop bagā. Itās super annoying but I canāt seem to break the habit.
Not sure if this is a good example but does anyone else struggle with this? Iām thinking itās my lack of understanding how a back and forth conversation truly works but I could be way off the mark on that one.
