My boyfriend has Aspergers so it makes it hard for me to communicate my thoughts and feelings towards a situation to him in a way that doesn’t seem like a personal attack against him.
Because when he gets overwhelmed he tends to raise his voice and I have ptsd from my parents yelling all the time
If anyone has advice on how I should be communicating with him in a way that doesn’t make him feel unsafe please let me know if appreciate it
Because we really do love each other but it gets hard sometimes because I’ve never been around anyone who has Aspergers (unless I have been but they didn’t say) let alone been in a relationship with someone with it! And I no longer want to be ignorant towards his situation and I need to educate myself on how to handle this situation properly!
