I think I am pretty high functioning, but with the job market, I have been reconsidering a few things. I get the economy sucks, but I feel like it would be nice if I had an advocate that could advocate on my behalf without being judged if I am not the perfect conversationalist (despite being decent). It seems those in the military or in unions have someone covering them. I don't even mind doing my own thing, but things seema so cutthroat that someone on the spectrum could use extra help on getting a job, even if normally they get work. I have been thinking about this a bit more and may need to make drastic changes in my life in order to get ahead.
