How to Get to The Next Level With Employment?
Post Body

Hi.

Long story short I have worked in an industry for about 5 years. Overall the pay was not bad and I got decent overtimes and have been at the current job for 3 years. As you know inflation took a bite out of everyone's purchasing power and I did not get a raise. On top of this overtime has come down, so my real wages have gone to the dirt. I took up a retail job on the weekends to pay off some bills and have been working on a side gig and investing. I plan to get some certs and see where that takes me.

I have tried to apply to some jobs out of state and got some interviews for a higher paying position in my field but I was not hired and the number of positions is now dwindling in the cities I was looking at. Should I switch careers or ride it out another year or two? How are other professionals with Asperger's riding this out?
