I have seen a few posts lately about how things people would do before or places people would go to are packed with people and the sensory overload is too much. In the past two month, I had two gay guys be aggressive with me (the first one I was joking about it in a bro way, but must have miscommunicated, so the first was on me somewhat, as I am straight, the second time I felt like beating the guy up, long story), a guy threaten to kick my ass for telling him to turn his fucking music down on the train, people in Wal-Mart being general jackasses, and just people being jerks everywhere I go. When I visited Dallas it was not as bad, but everywhere else I have been has been kind of like this. Combine this with the mediocre food these days, people being stupid, and having everything I need at home, it makes me rather stay home outside work and hanging with friends on the weekend. I still take my walks nd whatnot, but the outside world seems too much. Also in the apartment I am living in has been extra loud lately.
To me, reading about Game Theory, programming, and just chilling at home is cheaper and less nerve wracking.
