I was thinking how the ADA is severely flawed and seems to not really address ND people. So in essence I think states should enact a ND Bill of rights. I know different states may enact more conservative or liberal versions of this, but I would like to discuss this idea as it has been popping in my head lately. Here are some of my ideas for more conservative states:
-Tax rebates to make it worth it for people to work (as taxes seem to cut into funds that could be used to fund a cushion against societal pressures).
-Mandated government training on ND individuals in all levels of government and support for those that need to deal with the government (I fucking hate having to do government paperwork),
-PSAs about being less of a prick to ND people
-All government suppliers and contractors need training on ND people
-Perhaps tax credits to companies for hiring ND people
-More funding for social services for ND people (programs tailored to ND people)
-More research into ways to ease the suffering of those that are ND
I am open to some other ideas but I think the Neurodiversity movement is picking up and we should work on a semi-unified vision of what can be asked of our legislators and governors.
