It seems like many new people here aren't familiar with circlejerk style subreddits. [I am happy you are here btw.]

The point of cj subreddits to to make fun of posts in the mother subs. I've been a member here for about 3 years. I'm also a member of the /r/magicthecirclejerking subreddit (highly recommended) and /r/TrueSTL (elder scrolls cj).

The point of these subs is to make fun of over-the top fan theories, books and show hate, and just straight up weird things in the mother subs. If y'all want to have serious discussion about the show and books I'd suggest /r/pureasoiaf or /r/gottheories, or any smaller sub that doesn't have 600,000 redditors.

But again I am happy you are here and it's nice to see this growing, but I don't want it to turn into /r/freefolk. I'd encourage everyone new to look at the sub's top posts to get a feel of what we're about.
