I realise that we get new members here every day and that we're all brimming with a plethora of questions upon first exposure. Nothing wrong with curiosity, yet the problem persistently occurs when newer members of this (imo) great subreddit pop in and ask a question that has been discussed more than a dozen times. for example, every week I come across at least another;
A search of r/asoiaf doesn't take long at all and chances are, your question will have already been answered in great detail.
Don't get me wrong, fresh discussion and speculation is great and I always implore it, yet I feel as though this subreddit is beating a dead horse in more areas than it should be. Rehashing and resurrecting the same old subjects over and over again is diminishing the great think-tank we have here.
If you've a fresh theory, then go ahead and share it - but if your question has already been answered, please just at least scan the search results and if you feel dissatisfied or underwhelmed with what you find, go ahead and post.
Thanks for your attention, Valar Dohaeris.
