(Spoilers Main) What about the alternate theory, GRRM has just thrown out so much information that anything that happens can be rationalized.

So many theories and explanations that are touted here are based on bits and pieces gleaned from a huge amount of details. Is there any possibility that there is just so much information that a group of super fans can rationalize anything that isn't directly contradicted? If, for example, Jaime was betrothed to Asha as a youth, would this subreddit be able to find a compelling reason for that that is just as good as anything that has happened?
