Finishing my 3rd audio book playthrough of the series and I'm at the end of ASoS. At the choosing of the Lord Commander, Mormont's raven returns to speak on behalf of Snow. This bird is smarter then other ravens and was always with Jeor. Is it possible Jeor lived on in the raven, like Orel in the eagle. Though, the raven's speech may give us a voice of the dead.
We know wargs can sense other wargs, so this could explain Mormont's quick forgiveness of Jon's follies and unquestioning belief of his wolf dream.
