Hey all! I'm rather new to posting theories and I'm on mobile so please forgive my lack of links, but I had a shower thought that I hadn't previously seen posted before.
What if Valonqar is a double meaning and hidden message. First, is the fact that it is Valyrian for "little brother". Many have speculated as this referencing either Jaime or Tyrion. Both are very good candidates, although I believe their paths gravitate towards a different conclusion.
The second meaning for this prophecy (and my theory) has to do with an often overlooked feature. The word itself is Valyrian and directly references the little brother.
What if the Valonqar is actually Jon Snow, assuming R L=J since its been all but confirmed in the books. Jon would be the Valyrian younger brother and possible heir to the throne, if you subscribe to the male dominated societal belief that Dany would not be able to hold the throne due to her gender.
What do you guys think?
