To get straight to the point, I believe Reek (the first one) is actually suffering from a disease originating in Sothyros. Yezzan zo Qaggaz, A Wise Master of Yunkai, is morbidly obese. He also smells terrible, being inable to be rid of the stench. He is said to have gotten a disease travelling to Sothyros and ever since he has been dying of it, and it brings him great pain. We all know Reek 1 is also in great pain, and showered 3 times a day and put flowers in his hair to rid himself of the stench that he suffered from. We all know Sothyros is a land plagued with terrible disease, it wouldnt seem off to assume that Sothyros would have a disease that made you smell bad too. Any thoughts?
