I didn't have any solid plans of buying The World of Ice and Fire to begin with, but I stumbled across a good deal at Sam's Club yesterday and wanted to share.

The book is available on Sam's Book Club site for $33.38 (here's the link for that).

Not the best deal online, and I'm pretty sure Amazon beats that price without having to have the Sam's membership.

However, I was walking through a Sam's yesterday and saw the book for $28.67 pre-tax on the shelf. Of course I bought it.

Not the most incredible deal I've ever seen, and the whole Sam's membership thing is a barrier, but I figured I'd let any Sam's members planning a shopping trip know that they have The World of Ice and Fire on the shelf for a good price.
