(No Spoilers) Question about last names and bastards
Post Body

(Hopefully no spoilers, I should say) A friend was asking me this, and I honestly have no idea. So toss it out to you all.

So, if a noble has a bastard and acknowledges him, the child gets a last name (Snow, Stone, ect...) But if that bastard gets married and has non-bastard kids, what will be their last names? Do they get the bastard last name despite not being bastards? Do they get the mother's last name (if she has one)? Do they just not get one at all?
